The Office of Strategic Communications advances USG’s priorities and its mission in creating a more equitable, student-centered experience that drives student success from the classroom to career. The Strategic Communications team leads the development and execution of integrated communications and marketing strategies through branding and advertising, graphic design, digital media, and internal and external relations.

Central to advancing USG’s mission is to ensure a consistent look and feel of USG’s brand identity across all communication platforms. All campus community members are asked to support this practice through adherence to USG brand guidelines for all materials (i.e. flyers, posters, etc.). All branded merchandise requires approval prior to purchase or print.

Strategic Communications works closely with its academic partners and departments on communications planning and design. When you’re creating a new project, launching an initiative, hosting an event, or have a marketing need, the Strategic Communications team is your go-to resource for guidance and development.

Prospective Student Outreach

Partner universities on the USG campus may obtain targeted lists of prospective students currently attending Montgomery College and Frederick Community College that would have a possible interest in program(s) offered at USG. Lists are typically filtered in a way that allows our partner universities to reach a specific target audience (through selected majors, number of credit hours, etc.). Contact lists can be provided separately, and/or partners may request to have an email blast created and sent on their program’s behalf. Requests for targeted contact lists and/or email blasts can be submitted to members of the Center for Transfer Access and Strategic Communications teams using the form below.
