Interlibrary Loan & Document Delivery
Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
- Provides access to materials not available through the University System of Maryland Affiliated Institutions (USMAI) catalog
- Includes books and chapters, as well as journal articles not available through your home institution library
- Available only to students, faculty, and staff of a given university
- Requires an ILLiad account
- First-time users will need to create one through their home institution library
- Check your home institution's library catalog for availability before submitting requests (linked from our Access to Catalog page)
- Requests for items available through USMAI may be deleted by ILL staff
Submitting a Request through Interlibrary loan
- Follow instructions for creating an account and completing the ILL Form
- Towson University's Albert S. Cook Library has created a useful video tutorial for creating and requesting ILL items!
- Both your 14-digit library barcode number (included on your USG ID card) and home institution login may be required to access ILLiad
- Not all ILL requests can be delivered to Priddy Library. Please contact your home institution's ILL department directly for more information on delivery options.
