Wendie Veloz Enterprises is searching for a driven and creative Podcast and Marketing Intern for a Spring 2026 unpaid internship. As an intern, you'll receive comprehensive training, valuable work experience, a recommendation, and an opportunity to connect with our company on LinkedIn. This position may also be eligible for college credits (please confirm with your educational institution).

OVERVIEW

We’re looking for detail-oriented and creative interns to join our team focused on supporting the production and marketing of the business and the Social Impact Level Up Podcast. You’ll get hands-on experience in guest management, content creation, and podcast promotion, learning the behind-the-scenes of podcast production and marketing strategy. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Guest Coordination – Assist with scheduling podcast interviews, confirming guest availability, and sending reminders.
  • Post-Show Guest Follow-Up – Send follow-up messages after each episode airs, sharing links and marketing materials with guests.
  • Show Notes Creation – Write compelling, SEO-friendly show notes summarizing each episode.
  • Marketing Asset Creation – Design promotional assets (graphics, audiograms, quote cards) for each episode and general social media posts in Canva.
  • Short-Form Video Editing – Create engaging Reels, Shorts, and TikTok clips from recorded episodes leveraging AI and other editing software.
  • Social Media Scheduling – Plan and schedule posts across Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok to promote new episodes and other business-related content.
  • Content Organization – Keep podcast assets, transcripts, and marketing materials organized in our shared folders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in a U.S. college, university or relevant trade school. (Required- no exceptions)
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. (Required- no exceptions)
  • Resides in a U.S. time zone for seamless collaboration.
  • College-level proficiency in written English.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to following through.
  • Confident in contributing in independent work settings, displaying self-motivation and effective time management skills.
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok)
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar)
  • Highly organized and able to meet deadlines
  • Interest in podcasting, storytelling,marketing, and social impact
  • Owns a computer with internet access.
  • Familiarity with Google Drive Suite applications: Docs, Sheets, Forms.
  • Proficient in using Zoom Video Conferencing.

BONUS SKILLS- not required

  • Educational or job experience in  marketing, video editing, or design is a strong plus.
  • Possesses blogging or copy writing skills.
  • Can create short or long-form videos.
  • Knowledge of or ability to work in our software suite including Descript, CapCut, Canva, or Opus Clips.

HOURS: 

Approximately 10 hours per week for Spring 2026, including mentorship and training.
Flexible remote schedule, with at least one weekly team meeting during business hours (9 AM–4 PM ET).

All tasks will be conducted using online communication tools, including email, phone, video conferences, and Google Docs. Preference for students located in the Washington DC metro region. 


WORK ARRANGEMENT: 

This is a remote position, allowing for flexible working hours. As long as tasks, meetings, and deadlines are effectively managed, you can arrange your work schedule to suit your needs. All tasks will be conducted using online communication tools, including email, phone, video conferences, WhatsApp, and Google Docs.
