Wendie Veloz Enterprises (WVE) is searching for a motivated and detail-oriented Intern for a 6-month unpaid internship opportunity. You will directly support our founder to increase the capacity of Wendie Veloz Enterprises to serve our clients and stay on the cutting edge of the social impact sector.
Our interns receive comprehensive training, valuable work experience, and a recommendation. This position may also be eligible for college credits (please confirm with your educational institution).
Objective
The Project Management Intern plays a vital role in helping Wendie Veloz Enterprises deliver high-quality products and services to clients. This position focuses on assisting with project coordination, conducting research to strengthen deliverables, and supporting internal systems that ensure projects are completed on time and aligned with client goals. The intern will work closely with the founder and team to organize project materials, enhance process efficiency, and contribute to WVE’s overall impact and excellence.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the coordination and tracking of active consulting and coaching projects.
- Conduct research to inform deliverables, presentations, and reports for client projects.
- Assist with preparing internal project documents, summaries, and progress updates.
- Collaborate with the marketing intern to align content with current priorities and relevant social impact topics.
- Use AI and productivity tools to improve workflows, documentation, and reporting quality.
- Help maintain project systems (spreadsheets, task trackers, and shared drives) to ensure organization and consistency..
- Participate in team meetings, capturing notes and follow-up tasks for ongoing projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled in a U.S. college, university or relevant trade school. (Required- no exceptions)
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. (Required- no exceptions)
- Resides in a U.S. time zone for seamless collaboration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research, organization, and time management abilities.
- Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and Zoom.
- Reliable internet connection and ability to meet deadlines independently.
- Owns a computer with reliable internet access.
- Familiarity with Google Drive Suite applications: Docs, Sheets, Forms.
- Proficient in using Zoom Video Conferencing.
BONUS SKILLS- not required
- Experience with Canva, Notion, Asana, Trello, or AI tools (ChatGPT, Notion AI, etc.).
- Familiarity with marketing workflows.
- Familiarity with grant/project management.
HOURS:
Approximately 10 hours per week for Spring 2026, including mentorship and training.
Flexible remote schedule, with at least one weekly team meeting during business hours (9 AM–4 PM ET).
All tasks will be conducted using online communication tools, including email, phone, video conferences, and Google Docs. Preference for students located in the Washington DC metro region.
