Belonging Begins With Us: An Intercultural Celebration will bring together students, faculty, staff, university partners and friends from across our community for an afternoon of culture, creativity and connection. Through music, dance, spoken word, storytelling and other expressions of culture and heritage, we'll celebrate what makes each of us unique—and what brings us together.
The celebration will also mark the official launch of USG's five-year Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Strategic Action Plan. Dr. Jeffrey R. Ash, USG's Chief Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Officer, will introduce the plan, share its vision for the future and invite each of us to play a role in creating a community where everyone is welcomed, valued and empowered to thrive.

Students: We want you to be part of the celebration! Showcase your culture, heritage or lived experience through music, dance, poetry, spoken word, storytelling, art, cultural attire or another form of creative expression.
