Elevate H.E.R. Worth is searching for a creative and motivated Marketing and Social Media Intern to support our growing national brand focused on uplifting women entrepreneurs through healing, connection, and community. This fully remote, flexible internship is designed for college students seeking hands-on experience in marketing, branding, and content creation.
As an intern, you’ll gain real-world experience, mentorship, and a chance to work alongside purpose-driven women entrepreneurs. This is an unpaid internship opportunity with the potential to earn college credit (please confirm with your institution).

OBJECTIVE:
Support Elevate H.E.R. Worth’s marketing and brand growth by helping create social media and blog content, conduct market research, and develop email marketing campaigns for a national audience of women entrepreneurs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create engaging social media posts (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) in our brand tone
- Draft blog articles and captions
- Design content in Canva, CapCut, and other software (Reels, carousels, graphics)
- Research trends, hashtags, and content strategies for women-owned businesses
- Schedule email campaigns via our email platform (FloDesk)
- Support content planning for signature events
- Track engagement and performance analytics across platforms
- Attend events and create content if you are based in the Washington, D.C. area.
YOU ARE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:
- Love working with creative tools like Canva, CapCut, or Instagram Reels
- Enjoy storytelling, writing, and uplifting others
- Are curious about social media strategy, entrepreneurship, women-owned businesses, or digital marketing
- Are detail-oriented, organized, and follow through on tasks
- Communicate clearly and are comfortable giving and receiving feedback
- Can work independently and manage your own time
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled in a U.S. college, university or relevant trade school. (Required- no exceptions)
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. (Required- no exceptions)
- Resides in a U.S. time zone for seamless collaboration.
- College-level proficiency in written English.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to following through.
- Confident in contributing in independent work settings, displaying self-motivation and effective time management skills.
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok)
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar)
- Highly organized and able to meet deadlines
- Interest in podcasting, storytelling,marketing, and social impact
- Owns a computer with internet access.
- Familiarity with Google Drive Suite applications: Docs, Sheets, Forms.
- Proficient in using Zoom Video Conferencing.
- Experience with content creation (graphics, short videos, captions, stories, blogs)
BONUS SKILLS (Not Required):
- Interest in holistic wellness, personal development, and/or entrepreneurship
- Aspiration to start your own business or already have a business
- Prior internship, volunteer, or portfolio work in marketing, content creation, or social media management
- Familiarity with brand voice and storytelling for niche industries
- Graphic design or photography experience is a plus
- Basic understanding of analytics and insights (social media metrics, email performance reports) preferred
HOURS:
Approximately 10 hours per week for the Spring semester, including mentorship and training.
Flexible remote schedule, with at least one weekly team meeting during business hours (9 AM–4 PM ET).
All tasks will be conducted using online communication tools, including email, phone, video conferences, and Google Docs. Preference for students located in the Washington DC metro region.
WORK ARRANGEMENT:
This is a remote position, allowing for flexible working hours. As long as tasks, meetings, and deadlines are effectively managed, you can arrange your work schedule to suit your needs. All tasks will be conducted using online communication tools, including email, phone, video conferences, WhatsApp, and Google Docs.
