Welcome to USG's Career Closet!

The Macklin Center oversees the Career Closet, open to students at USG! Select clothing items for upcoming career fairs, interviews, and professional development opportunities. Listed below is key information about the closet:

  1. The closet is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday in Building IV. Visit Room 1322 and ask a front staff worker for assistance with accessing the closet.
  2. Students can choose up to three (3) clothing items and one (1 ) accessory per visit. Students are able to visit the closet twice (2) a semester.

Visiting our Career Closet is easy and seamless! Listed below are steps to take during your visit:

  1. A member of the Macklin Center staff will greet you upon arrival at the front desk (Building IV, Room 1322).
  2. You will be asked to sign in with information including your name, school email address, and home institution.
  3. Once you have signed in, you are able to browse the closet.
  4. If needed, students are able to try on clothing in the restroom down the hallway.
  5. Once you are finished, you will be asked to mark down the number of items you have chosen.

Your chosen items are yours to keep! Come visit the Macklin Center and take a look at our clothing selection!

Career Closet Donations

The Macklin Center is appreciative of any donations to the USG's career closet. The Macklin Center is accepting a range of clothing and accessory donations including tops, bottoms, suits, dresses, shoes, jewelry, ties, and more! This will allow students to have a variety of clothing to chose from when attending professional events such as interviews, internships, career fairs, presentations, conferences, and more!

Please read below to find out more about our process for accepting donations:

  1. If you would like to drop the donations off at USG, our student staff will greet you at the front of our Center to accept the clothing and provide a parking voucher to cover any expenses.
    1. Our address is 9630 Gudelsky Dr, Rockville, MD 20850 and our center is located in Building IV, Room 1322.
