DrinkMore Water is a locally owned water purification and delivery company proudly serving customers nationwide from our headquarters in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Since 1993, we’ve built a reputation for quality, service, and growth — and we continue to expand every year.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team for a summer internship within Customer Service & Operations. This role offers hands-on exposure to the core functions of our business and is the ideal entry point for someone interested in building a long-term career in operations. This is more than a traditional customer service role — it’s an opportunity to learn how an operations-driven company functions from the inside out. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to grow into a larger operational role within the company. This 3-month summer internship is designed as a pathway to full-time employment, and high-performing interns who demonstrate initiative and impact may be offered a full-time role at the conclusion of the program.
About the Role
The Customer Service & Operations Intern will gain firsthand experience in:
• Order processing and production coordination
• Delivery routing and route preparation
• Customer communication and issue resolution
• Cross-functional operational support
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is:
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Self-motivated with strong time-management skills
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• A clear and professional communicator (both written and verbal)
• Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills
• Technically proficient and comfortable learning new systems
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both customers and delivery drivers
• Manage inbound calls, payment processing, delivery scheduling, and order adjustments
• Communicate effectively with customers and business partners at all levels
• Utilize internal systems including ERP and credit card processing software
• Make timely, sound decisions that support the customer and the company
• Assist with administrative projects, reports, and additional operational tasks as assigned
Compensation & Benefits
• Internship Program: 3-months $25/hour.
