The Universities at Shady Grove (USG) is excited to welcome you and your family to our beautiful campus this spring!
Event attendees will be able to:
- Meet with program advisors from each of the career-focused degree programs offered at the USG campus
- Receive personalized next steps in the application and admission process for your program of choice
- Explore scholarship opportunities exclusive to students at USG
- Learn about USG and our customized academic, career, and personal support services
- Apply on-site and/or receive fee waivers for select degree programs
- Complete one step of the USG Transfer Pathway by participating in the Transfer Track
- Explore student life and enjoy a fun zone including games, snacks, and activities for attendees of all ages
- Learn about the "Hire U" program and how USG will ensure you graduate career-ready
- Enjoy a pop-up from Dawson's Market where you can purchase hot dogs, hamburgers, and snacks
- Enter to win raffles including USG swag packs, two $500 USG Scholarships, and more!
Schedule of Events
Parking Information
Parking for all guests will be free of charge in Lot 2 and the Traville Gateway Garage. Guests are highly encouraged to park in Lot 2, as it provides the easiest access to the event.
The event will take place in the Biomedical Sciences & Engineering Building (Building IV on the map).
Transfer Track
Scan a QR code at each of the following three sessions to complete the Transfer Express requirement of the USG Transfer Pathway.
- USG Info Session
- Scholarships & Financial Literacy
- Managing Academics at a Four-Year Institution
You must attend and scan in all three sessions for Transfer Express credit.
The USG Transfer Pathway is a three-step process to transfer seamlessly into a bachelor’s program offered by one of nine Maryland universities on the USG campus. Plus those enrolling in Fall 2026 can earn a $500 USG Transfer Scholarship*!
