Program Overview
UMBC's Cybersecurity Graduate program at The Universities at Shady Grove offers a 30-credit Master of Science and two 12-credit Post-Baccalaureate Certificates. The Cybersecurity program integrates courses in cybersecurity policy and management with more technical, hands-on courses that prepare working professionals with a foundational knowledge of the IT or Cybersecurity fields to fill management, analytical, investigative, operational, and/or technical leadership roles in the cybersecurity profession. Cybersecurity has emerged as a critical domain of global competition that reaches across the social, economic, political and military realms of influence.
