Program Overview
The University of Baltimore offers a B.S. in Simulation and Game Design at The Universities at Shady Grove on weekdays during daytime hours. You'll study basic game concepts and design, the fundamentals of computer programming, 3-D modeling and animation, usability design, the application of simulation to education and other nonentertainment fields, and the design of multiplayer games.
Through dual capstone seminars, you'll work closely with professionals to test and build games and simulations, and you'll graduate with a portfolio of projects to showcase your skills.
The state of Maryland boasts the largest concentration of computer game developers outside of California, with more than 100 game-development companies and agencies in the Baltimore-Washington area.
