Admission & Requirements
Students entering the program at Shady Grove will have completed their freshman and sophomore years at a community college or accredited 4-year institution. The program is designed to be completed in two years of continuous full-time enrollment. Part-time study is welcomed. We welcome you to speak with an advisor, who can answer any questions you might have about admissions or transfer.

Minors
The College of Information offers the following undergraduate minors. All minors can be completed 100% online; some courses are offered in a hyflex format, with an in-person option available as well.
Information Risk Management, Ethics, and Privacy Minor
Prepares students to evaluate major information and big data privacy and security issues that businesses and individuals encounter.
Technology Innovation Leadership Minor
Combines creative leadership, design thinking, and understanding socio-technical challenges to prepare students to tackle large-scale problems relating to technology innovation.
