Program Overview
The Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) program prepares students for leadership and management roles through educational opportunities and community engagement that reflect the global hospitality industry.
The UMES-HTM program at USG is an upper-division program providing full-time and part-time curriculum plans of study in hospitality management. Students complete lower-division coursework before transferring to USG, where they complete the upper-division courses required for the degree. The program offers a two-year course of study with internship opportunities in hospitality management.
Lower-division coursework should include studies in hospitality management or business, social and behavioral sciences, natural or physical sciences, and arts and humanities for transfer into the HTM baccalaureate program.
Admission Requirements
- 54 or more college credits or an associate degree
- Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
- Required lower-division coursework
- Transcript evaluation required for coursework completed outside the United States
