Students and Alumni who are/were enrolled in an academic program at USG are encouraged to create a free Career Connector account.  This account is required to access and schedule Job Search appointments and to search for job and internship postings in our database.  This virtual scheduling and job search platform provides students access to view a wide variety of internship and employment opportunities including on-campus, part-time, full-time, and temporary employment  opportunities.

Getting Started with Career Connector

Log in or register as a Student

Students and recent alumni can search for jobs and internships targeted to students at USG through Career Connector, as well as scheduling individual appointments to learn more about the Mentoring Program and to discuss job search strategies.

For students logging into Career Connector for the first time: Click on the Sign up for an account link at the bottom of the login box. The next screen will prompt you to create a password. Remember to click the checkbox "I agree to the 12Twenty Terms of Service and Privacy Policy." then return to the Career Connector login page to access the platform.

NOTE for students at UMBC:

In general, the university email that will be connected to your accout with be the 2 letter and 5 digit uncustomized email your received upon registration (ex: ab12345@umbc.edu). If you do not recall this version of your email, please email the Office of Strategic Partnerships at usg-partnerships@umd.edu. Please provide your name, your customized email, and your academic program and so that we can update your records.

Register for Individual Job Search Sessions or Meetings to Learn About Finding a Mentor

Individual Job Search sessions can be scheduled via our Career Connector virtual platform. Both in-person and virtual coaching sessions are available.

Current Students: Current students are limited to four (4) appointments per student per semester.  Exceptions can be made by special request or on a case-by-case basis. 

Recent Alumni: Alumni who have graduated in the past year are limited to four (4) appointments per semester.  Exceptions can be made by special request or on a case-by-case basis.
