Please save the date for a USG Exhibition Day, to be held Monday–Tuesday, May 4–5, 2026, in the Multipurpose Room (MPR) at Universities at Shady Grove.
This exhibition will showcase student work through professional poster presentations, with participating programs invited to have their students’ present projects aligned with their academic discipline and industry focus. The event is designed to highlight experiential learning, support professional presentation skills, and create opportunities for engagement with employers, faculty, alumni, and peers.
Preliminary overview:
- Monday, May 4:
Dedicated presentation sessions by industry sector with scheduled times for student presenters
(Breakfast and afternoon refreshments will be provided) - Tuesday, May 5:
Posters remain on display with no coordinated programming - Post-event display:
Posters may remain displayed around campus for up to two additional weeks (optional)
USG will provide the space, printing support where needed, poster boards and monitors, marketing and communications, and coordinated employer outreach. We ask that faculty and program directors support student participation, communication, promotion, and attendance during designated presentation times.
An optional orientation session (hybrid) for participating programs is being planned for the week of January 19, 2026, where we will review logistics, timelines, and expectations and gather preliminary estimates of student participation.
A formal invitation to participate, detailed timelines, and registration information will follow shortly. For now, we ask that you save the date and begin considering whether your program may wish to participate.
If you have immediate questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
We hope you’ll join us in celebrating and elevating student work across USG.
